Classroom Resources - The Story of Jesus for Children  
The teacher and student resources listed below will assist you as you bring this year’s Hearts for Jesus project to life for the students in your classroom. 

Sample lesson plans and/or devotions can be used during the course of a single week, or once weekly for a month.  The materials are provided to serve as a guide and help to you.  Each classroom that participates will also be provided with one sample DVD to use to introduce the project to the students.

However, you know the children in your classroom best, so feel free to use the resources in the way that will benefit them most. 

We also encourage you to look at all of the materials.  While they were designed with specific age groups in mind, you may find helpful ideas in the resources created for other grade levels.

Thank you for your partnership in Lutheran school ministry and in this Hearts for Jesus project. 

No matter how you choose to use these resources we pray God’s rich blessings on your efforts to help children share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.  Ultimately, that is what this project is all about.

Activity Pages - These sheets are to enhance and enforce some of the lessons taught in the movie and devotions.  Please use them as you see fit.  The Jesus Bingo can be used in a variety of ways.  Have the students fill in the empty squares with scenes from the movie.  The teacher can call out different scenes and when you have a three in a row call out “Jesus” instead of bingo.  The middle square is a free gift; just like Jesus is a free gift
